We recruit the best
When we recruit new staff, we look for competences and personal development potential which supports our business aims and corporate objectives. We do this to ensure that applicants and MT Højgaard can both benefit from potential collaboration.

We are naturally interested in attracting committed staff, so we can retain them and develop them. That's why our selection process is so thorough – we recruit the best!

Unsolicited applications are welcome
If no current vacancies match your profile but you have a keen interest in working for us, you are welcome to send an unsolicited job application.

Recruitment procedure
On receipt of your application, we send you an acknowledgment. We prefer applications via e-mail or via our online application form.

Interview
If you are invited for interview, this typically takes place 3-4 weeks after receipt of your application. At the first interview you will meet the head of the relevant department and/or a member of the personnel department.

It is important that you prepare for the interview, in order to give us the best possible basis for assessment. We expect you to have questions regarding the job and the company. If, after the first interview, we feel it appropriate to progress your application to the next stage, you will be invited for a second interview – assuming of course that you would like to work for MT Højgaard.

Test
We use certain tests when recruiting for managerial posts and some specialist jobs. The test results are not decisive in themselves, but form part of the total assessment. We always give you feedback on the results of the tests, regardless of whether the interview leads to employment.

During the recruitment process we ask you to provide references from your previous employment or academic studies, which we use to form a broad assessment.

Unsolicited applications
If you send us an unsolicited application, and your competences are relevant to MT Højgaard, we will look at the opportunities in our organisation. If no current opportunity exists, your application will be kept in our candidate database for 6 months provided that you consent to this. We make active use of our candidate database, so you will be contacted if we are seeking someone with your competences.
